When will the convention take place? Where is it located?

The N.C. A&T Aggie Alumni National Convention will take place June 6-10, 2018, at The Westin Buckhead Atlanta.

How often will the Convention be held?

The N.C. A&T Aggie Alumni National Convention will be held every two years following the inaugural convention of 2018 under the direction of the Alumni Association and The Office of Alumni Relations.  The convention will be held in various cities throughout the country and selected through submitted proposals by the alumni association’s Regional Directors.

How do I register to attend the N.C. A&T Aggie Alumni National Convention?

Alumni and friends can register for the convention at www.ncatalumniconvention.com.

Registration Fees

  • Alumni Early Bird Registration fee: $300.00
  • Alumni Registration fee: $350.00
  • Student Registration fee: $200.00

Ala Carte

  • Opening Plenary/ Luncheon: $100.00
  • Closing Honors & Awards Gala: $175.00

Can I also renew my North Carolina A&T State University Alumni Association, Inc. membership dues at the time of registration?

The Alumni Association utilizes a donation-based membership structure that benefits the North Carolina A&T State University Annual Giving Fund. When you contribute at least $50 to the annual fund, you are considered a member of the association.


I registered for the Aggie Alumni National Convention, but did not receive a receipt of payment.
To access a receipt of payment for the Aggie Alumni National Convention, please sign in to your registration account.


I would prefer to mail in my registration. How can I register by mail?
Please download the registration form from www.ncatalumniconvention.com and mail it to the N.C. A&T Office of Alumni Relations by May 15, 2018.

Do all presenters have to register for the Aggie Alumni National Convention?

What services are available for special needs and requests?

The N.C. A&T Aggie Alumni National Convention encourages persons with disabilities to attend. Please specify on the registration form any special needs or accommodations. Also, if you have dietary preferences, please be sure to mark those on the space provided on the form. For any questions, please contact the Hospitality Committee at hospitality@convention.ncatsualumni.org.


Can I request a sign language interpreter?

Yes! We are happy to provide sign language interpreters at all of our events. Please email convention@ncatsualumni.org to request interpreters or other needs.


Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes. We ensure that our venues are wheelchair accessible, as well as accessible to other needs. We are always happy to provide as much information as you need to prepare.

How will N.C. A&T Aggie Alumni National Convention communicate with me in the event of an emergency?

For all convention updates, you will receive email notifications from the registration site.

I am no longer able to attend the Aggie Alumni National Convention. How do I cancel my registration, and will I receive a refund of the fees?

If you have registered and have paid in full but are unable to attend the 2018 N.C. A&T Aggie Alumni National Convention, you will incur a non-refundable $25 USD processing fee if the cancellation is requested in writing and received by the convention organizers on or before April 15, 2018. A 50-percent refund will be granted to a fully paid registrant if the cancellation is requested in writing and received by the convention organizers by May 1, 2018.

Please note, after May 1, 2018, there are no cancellation refunds.

How can I reserve a hotel room, and what are the rates?

Once you register, you will receive information on how to book a room in the convention’s block at The Westin Atlanta Buckhead.  The hotel rates will be available once registration is complete.

How do I sign up to volunteer?

Please go to www.ncatalumniconvention.com/volunteers and sign up for a committee today. A representative from the volunteer committee will contact you regarding your participation.  

I’m a presenter – is there a PowerPoint template I should be using?

All presenters should have received a link with information for session presenters, which includes a link to the PowerPoint template.


Is there funding available to help with travel/registration costs?

The N.C. A&T Aggie Alumni National Convention is unable to assist with travel or registration costs.

How can my organization become a convention sponsor?

To become a sponsor and for more information, please contact the N.C. A&T Office of Alumni Relations or 336-433-5570.

What is the Exhibit Hall?

The Exhibit Hall is an opportunity for vendors and exhibitors to showcase their products and services to convention attendees.

When is the Exhibit Hall open?

I am interested in becoming an exhibitor for the 2018 Convention, how do I get involved?

Fill out the online Exhibitor Registration form if you are interested in getting involved and becoming an Exhibitor. Once you have completed the exhibitor registration, the vendors/exhibitor manager will contact you.
